🎶 A Musical Monday to Remember at Lee Mount Care Home
There’s something truly magical about music — and this Monday morning, our residents were treated to a beautiful burst of joy and rhythm as Steve visited us with his guitar and timeless tunes.
As the first chords filled the air, smiles began to spread, and before we knew it, the room was alive with clapping, singing, and a few toe-tapping dance moves!
Steve’s warm presence and familiar songs brought back precious memories for many and created new ones for all. From golden oldies to well-loved classics, every song struck a chord in the hearts of our wonderful residents.
Our lounge turned into a little concert hall, and the atmosphere was electric — laughter, connection, and music echoed through the space. This wasn’t just a performance; it was a shared experience that uplifted everyone’s spirit.
“It’s the best Monday I’ve had in a long time!” — said one of our residents with a big smile.
These musical sessions are more than entertainment — they are moments of healing, engagement, and emotional well-being, especially for those living with dementia. Music taps into memory, emotion, and joy like nothing else.
